An 18th century Venetian fountain which was brought back by one of the Mundy family members from a major tour and placed in the grounds of Markeaton Hall. It was later acquired by a Dr Hamilton, of Matlock Bath, and then offered to the council on condition that it be placed in Darley Park where he could view it from his neighboring house.
