The Wiregrass Rehab Center unveiled its new logo and branding on Wednesday during a company-wide luncheon and meeting to discuss the future of the new branding.
WRC has been in business for over 60 years; its last corporate refresher was nearly 20 years ago.
With this new logo and brand, WRC is also implementing new and updated core values, mission statement and vision for the company and its affiliates.
“Not only has the training of our employees changed, but we have become a more integrated community system and our goal is not only to employ individuals in our various lines of business, but also to find good placements for them. in the community,” WRC development director Cynthia Green said.
The new logo features the letters “WRC” in a blue circle with its new slogan below: “What a difference, a job done!” »
WRC also adopted a new mission statement and a new vision for the company. The new mission statement is: “To increase employment for those facing employment barriers by building strong relationships with community partners, government entities and private employers.” The new vision is: “That all people facing career barriers have a career path and job choices.

“More than 12 departments have had different logos for many years, and we felt it was important that everyone fall under the same umbrella and become universal, so that the new logo will be used across all of our business areas. ‘activity going forward,’ Green said.
WRC’s departments include medical laundry, secure document destruction, catering, retail and other industrial services.
“We wanted to rekindle the passion of our employees and the community to remind them that we are still here and have been for 60 years. At WRC we are not a non-profit organization that raises funds, we are a non-profit organization that gets into the competition and works for it,” said executive director Paul Lee.
The WRC’s goal is to help people with documented disabilities become as independent and do the same as other members of the community, Lee said.
